While I'm excited for my research project, I'm not forgetting about the fact that I'm going to Rome, Italy! One of the most amazing places in the world. I feel like recently I've been stressing so much over my research project that I haven't been able to sit back and enjoy the fact that I get to go live in a foreign country for 3 months! So, for this blog post, I just wanted to talk about something I was excited about. :D
Things I'm looking forward to doing:
1. Throwing a coin into the Trevi Fountain
2. Joining an audience with the Pope at the Vatican and then wandering through St Peter's Basilica, and seeing Michelangelo's frescos in the Sistine Chapel
3. See the Pantheon
4. Take a Gondola Ride!
I am thankful for Google for making it so easy for me to search out amazing things about Italy.
For future reference, these are some of the sites I thought would be good to know about!
